What is the Lilumia power plug compatibility?
The power source for the Lilumia has an Input 100-240V, 0-25W with 12V Output. Compatible with Type A/B plugs which are commonly found in U.S. and Canada. If using the Lilumia outside of the U.S. or Canada you may need to use a converter to make the power supply compatible with international power outlets.
What size brushes can be used within the Lilumia Device?
The Lilumia device is compatible with most standard size brushes (minimum 5.5 inches). Brushes above 8.5 inches tall use without lid. Check out our Brush Size Chart for more information on recommended brush types www.lilumia.com/brush-size-chart/
How does the Lilumia get my brushes clean?
The Brush Holder rotates the brush hairs back and forth in a clockwise and counter clockwise motion onto the textured Cleaning Disk. The Lilumia device completes a wash cycle with Lilumia cleanser and 3 rinse cycles hands-free similar to a washing machine. Dirty water is drained before each cycle begins as clean water flows up to the surface. This combination gently and effectively removes build up and bacteria upon contact with your brushes.
Does the Lilumia Dry my Brushes?
Once the Lilumia has completed the cleaning process, remove the lid, place the brushes into the hang dry position (hang dry position is demonstrated in the How it Works video), remove excess water from brush hairs and let your brushes air dry. Air drying is the preferred method to prevent brush damage. The Lilumia device is a cleaning tool and not recommended to be placed in your bathroom. Please place the Lilumia device in a well ventilated area when in use!
Are the color options representing different models of the Lilumia device?
No, all color options are of the same model and function the same.

Using your Lilumia Device
2. If washing your brushes has been neglected for an extended period of time (depending on brush use), heavily pigmented or soiled, or layered in product formulated with wax (lipsticks, eyeliner gel etc.), we recommend that you run your brushes through 2 full cleaning cycles the first time using your Lilumia. Once for a Pre Wash and 2nd time to complete the sanitation process. Thereafter, proceed with normal weekly cleanings.
3. Brushes should ENGAGE with the Cleaning Surface Area; and rub against the cleaning surface with brush hairs separated.(Do not smash, squish, or flatten your brushes hairs. This can cause brush damage)
4. Review brush chart to ensure your brush types are recommended for use in the Lilumia device! http://www.lilumia.com/brush-size-chart/
